Travel Experience Agent The six-week Travel Experience Agent program will consist of 6-modules to prepare the candidate to be well—versed in the hospitality and travel industry. Upon hiring the candidate will be required to attend virtual-live training to become certified as an entry level GDS travel agent. Over the first four weeks the candidate will learn the foundational aspects of a corporate and leisure travel agent. The final two weeks the agent will be assigned to an experience agent and customer support specialist for OJT and job shadowing.  

As a Travel Experience Agent you are the face of the company. You have a passion for the travel industry, enjoy working with people, and are a natural problem-solver. We want people who genuinely love going above and beyond to keep customers loyal and happy. Our goal is to become the best travel company in the industry, and a big part of that is providing the absolute best customer support to our users. Our agents are smart, empathetic, kind and curious. This job is not easy, and we need employees who can learn and quickly understand both tools for managing flights as well as how travel technology works, to provide a hybrid of tech and travel agent support.  

In this role, you will: • Communicate directly with travel customers via phone, email and chat. No scripts, human conversation only. • Constantly prioritize and re-prioritize a high volume of incoming requests • Work with multiple global distribution systems (GDSs) and a variety of internal tools/systems to help users pre- & post-booking • Collaborate extensively with remote & in-house Traveler Experience agents to improve operations and customer satisfaction • Work with in-house operations and developer teams to troubleshoot app issues users may be experiencing • Provide an exceptional level of customer support to all users who reach out  

A perfect candidate has: • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish, French or Portuguese is a plus • Good computer skills, a willingness and an eagerness to excel at many types of systems, including travel management • Intrinsic problem-solving skills • Excellent judgment; ability to ask smart questions and make quick, impactful decisions • Natural empathy and the ability to understand, meet, and exceed customer needs • Ability to learn quickly and absorb a high volume of new information on a daily basis • Resilient attitude, ability to stay on your toes and move with any changes. • Willingness to work a demanding schedule. 7:30AM until 11:30PM, must be available to work both weekdays and weekends.  

Other positions:

Administrative Assistant (1) - associates degree or three years related experience managing electronic files, communicating through email and phone. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Able to create basic PowerPoint Presentations.

Social Media Specialist (1) - We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales departments.

Lesiure Travel Agent (5) - As a leisure travel agent, your responsibilities involve identifying your clients' travel goals, finding suitable hotels or resorts, and booking accommodations. You may specialize in selling tour packages or packages that include both hotel and air. This position is hourly and commission based.
